About Me

I'm a Full Stack Web Developer with a deep passion for problem-solving and creating tangible results. Early on in my academic career, I realized that I enjoyed problem solving in science and math. However, most of the problem solving was mainly theoretical. Looking for a career that had problem solving and real tangible application, led to my passion as a web developer.

Most recently, I refined my skills as a developer at the British Columbia Institute of Technology, where I study Full Stack Web Development. This program gave me real hands-on work experience with employers. While at BCIT, I gained work experience at my internship with Evolve Creative Solutions where I worked as a Full Stack Web Developer using Javascript, React, Tailwind, Node.js.

    Developed a Express server using Typescript and connected it to a responsive React frontend using API calls to Create, Read, Update, Delete data end points.

    Design and implemented a MySQL database utilizing the new json data type, to make for efficient and custom data retrieval.
